Lola Beltran, born Maria Lucila Beltran Ruiz. Beltran was considered one of Mexico's most acclaimed singers of Ranchera and Huapango music. Throughout her singing career she collaborated with various Mexican music stars and was internationally known for her interpretation of the songs "Cucurrucucu Paloma" and "Paloma Negra" she even had the honor to sing in front of many world leaders.
