Muñecas de Trapo aka Mexican Rag Dolls which originated in the South of the Central State of Queretaro, they're part of a project which was made to enhance the income opportunities for Otomi women in the Amealco municipality. These dolls are often called Marias and were usually made with scraps of old bits of clothing which is still a common practice in Mexico's indigenous populations.

Marias become very popular amongst tourist venues in the 1970's and have gained popularity since then. You can find various types of rag dolls but most common have smiling faces and indigenous-like dresses and hair braided with ribbons.

Each mini sticker is approximately 1.25"
